TRIAD season 20-21 draws to a close

Whilst we await the official dates from National Grid (usually around the end of March) data published by Elexon give us a pretty good indication of when the TRIADs will be for season 20-21.

Elexon publish two datasets. One using Settlement meter data which is most likely to be the final result and another using Operational meter data which can sometimes ‘sneak in’ when it’s a close call. It is possible for a TRIAD to be none of the dates/times listed below but it is rare.

Settlement Metering:

• 07/01/21 17:30

• 10/02/21 18:00

• 07/12/20 17:00

 Operational Metering:

• 07/01/21 17:00

• 10/02/21 17:30

• 08/12/20 17:00

Of course, another date/time could claim a spot between now and the official end of the TRIAD season (28/02/2021) but this looks highly unlikely.
