TRIAD reconciliation for import electricity

TRIAD costs can be a separate line (also referred to as TNUOS) on your bill if you have a flexible electricity supply contract. If so, it is likely that you pay a bit towards your TRIAD costs every month based on the costs that your electricity supplier think you will incur. Now the actual winter 20-21 TRIAD times and dates are known you will likely receive a separate TRIAD reconciliation statement or even just an extra line on your bill somewhere that can easily be missed. It’s worth keeping an eye out for to make sure it is correct.

Flexible electricity supply contracts are better than fixed price contracts in so many ways whilst key disadvantages are their complexity and potential unpredictability. But with good advice and ongoing support both can be overcome and leave you with a good saving vs. fixed price contracts.

Get in touch if you have any questions about fixed or flexible electricity contracts, TRIADs, DUOS, BSUOS or any other acronym that appears on your electricity bill.
